The usual suspects

Heres the latest activities on the adoption front:
  • We got fingerprinted for the 4th time on saturday.  We are getting really good at it.  This is all for the US government to make REALLY sure that we are not bringing a little terrorist into the US.   So, we can all sleep easier tonight.
  • Gina gets her round of 5 vaccinations on Thursday.  So she might come down with a touch of polio, yellow fever, etc next weekend.  feel free to send your well wishes in advance.
  • We did get a little bit of an update on Oliver!   At about 2 months old he is 8.6 lbs (up from 7.5 last month) and grew about an inch to 21 inches.  Its not as worrisome as you might think, They are a lot smaller, and also there is a lot of measurment error and typos.  For example, they listed him as Female in the last report (we double checked, and he is still actually a he).  so, we'll get another update in a couple weeks.  all the updates get reviewed by the really excellent docs at the U of M international adoption clinic.
